Paul is jointly appointed between Digital Scholarship Services and the College’s Art Department. He oversees the creation, acquisition, cataloging and preservation of digital content for digital repositories at the library and the Art Department. Paul brings an expert background in digital imaging standards, file-naming convention, directory structures, visual resource accession practices, and digital asset management to operations in both Skillman Library and the Williams Center for the Arts. He provides consultation to faculty and other researchers in areas of digital asset production and preservation, and he trains and manages student assistants in production tasks and workflows. Paul has led digital imaging and preservation efforts for the Experimental Printmaking Institute Collection and the East Asia Image Collection, among many other projects.
