Special Collections & College Archives holds an extensive collection of photographs documenting the history of Lafayette College, containing approximately 60,000 photographs from 1858 to the present. This serves as a visual record of the individuals associated with the College, campus events, and the physical development of the buildings and grounds. From this archival collection, more than 1,100 images were selected and digitized in 2006 with support from the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission. In honor of the College’s Bicentennial, a further 650 images were digitized and added to the digital collection in 2024-2025.

The College Archives Image Collection is available to browse and search in the Lafayette Digital Repository.
