Unpacking AI: A Student Town Hall

Unpacking AI is an opportunity for students to gather and discuss AI tools and AI hype in a judgement free environment. Facilitated by librarian Janna Avon, the event will focus on unpacking what students understand about AI and how it works, and begin exploring questions, concerns, and curiosity they may have about the academic field and commercial industry.

Data Associates Drop In Hours

Bring your projects, and join the Data Associates for student drop-in hours and co-working on Tuesdays from 4:30pm-6:30pm, and Sundays from 2pm-4pm, in Skillman Library 003. The Data Associates can help you with: - Brainstorming how to approach analyzing your data, - Applying statistics thinking and methodologies to your project, - Getting feedback on your work in progress, - Advice on solving research problems using data. - Building your skills in: - study design and data collection, - data visualization, - data modelling, - data analysis. The drop in sessions are peer supported co-working sessions, and you're encouraged to bring your projects to the Library and work in community with the DAs and other students. Students from all disciplines and skill levels are welcome.
